Join forces with other volunteers to clean up Wisteria Drive in Germantown, one of the area roads KindWorks has “adopted.” We will be picking up litter and recyclables along Wisteria between Germantown Road and Great Seneca Highway.
So grab a friend or two and join us to have fun and enjoy the fresh air while helping the environment! We meet in the parking lot in front of the Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union and set out from there. Kindly note that gloves and trash pickers will be available on a limited first come first serve basis, so please bring your own if you have any.
Adopt-a-Road Student Service Learning: Students can earn SSL hours for participation.
Drop off Snack Drive Donations (Optional non SSL Activity)
KindWorks is partnering with CollegeTracks to host a Community Snack Drive to help first-generation, low-income, and immigrant students stay fueled as they prepare for college and career success. You’re invited to join the fun!
Bring your snack donations to the Adopt-a-Road cleanup and drop them off on-site.
View the snack drive flyer for requested items and additional details: Community Snack Drive Flyer.

A cancellation decision will be made by 9:00 AM on the day of the event and communicated to registered participants. If the event can be rescheduled, participants will be notified of the new date. Otherwise, there will be no make-up date.
