In 2025, we delivered 2,400 Summer Fun Sacks. Here’s a wrap up!
Summer Fun Stuff is KindWorks’ annual community project delivering activity-filled bags to underserved children across the greater DC Metro area.
Each bag is packed with new books, art supplies, games, and creative activities designed to spark imagination, learning, and confidence.
Over the past 9 years The Summer Fun Stuff Project has delivered more than 17,000 fun-filled, educational sacks to underserved children throughout the DMV. In collaboration with 14 frontline schools and community organizations, Summer Fun Stuff helps bring creativity and joy to children during the summer months.
The children we serve range from toddlers to teens and come primarily from immigrant, refugee, and low-income families. These bags provide meaningful enrichment during the summer months.
