Help put together a delicious taco dinner and/or supply breakfast items for the next morning for 38 women staying at the Interfaith Works Women’s Center in Rockville. The shelter also needs a few pantry items, detailed on the signup.
Please keep in mind that the shelter does not have ovens. It does have a microwave for warming already prepared food, along with refrigerators for storage. Food is served at 6:30 pm, so please plan to drop off your contributions for this meal before 6 pm that day (marking them: “KindWorks meal”).
To ensure that the ladies at the shelter will have some terrific meals and that each volunteer’s efforts are put to use, note these signup guidelines:
- Only sign up when you are certain that the volunteer date works for you.
- Write down in your calendar what you signed up to bring.
- Remember that each volunteer participating should sign up for their own distinct volunteer spot.
