Home Setup (drop-off) for our newly resettling neighbors from Honduras
Date: February 16, 2022
Welcome to the KindWorks apartment setup signup for a resettling Honduran family who were displaced last year due to an apartment fire. They are moving in to their own townhouse in Gaithersburg and are very excited!! 2 sisters who are the heads of household for this combined family, which includes boys who are 2, 8 and 9 years old and twin boys who are 5, and girls who are 6 and 11 years old.
Your contributions will help turn an empty apartment into a warm and welcoming home! Your willingness to jump in and help is truly special and deeply appreciated by this family. Let make sure that by next weekend this family has what they need to really feel at home in their new space!
We will not be setting up the apartment – as the family is already here and will be doing that. We will get back to you about delivery or pickup plans as soon as the family’s case manager has arranged it all with the family.
